Recreational Skipper’s Ticket
All drivers must hold a valid Recreational Skipper's Ticket & provide this on the day of hire. RST is a nationally recognised certificate of competency which shows that the holder has the minimum knowledge and practical skills needed to operate the vessel safely. International boating licences may also be recognised as equivalent to the RST, please check the list of recognised qualifications on the Western Australian Department of Transport website to see if your qualification is included.
Drivers Licence and Vehicle
On the day of hire you must present a full current and unrestricted driver’s licence (not a learners permit or provisional licence). Your vehicle must be properly fitted with a secure tow ball with the appropriate towing capacity to handle the weight of the jet ski and trailer. We will inspect your vehicle on the day and no other party is permitted to tow the trailer.
A security bond of $1000 will be payable upon pick up. The bond will be released 2-10 business days after your hire has been returned, provided there are no damages to or loss of the jet ski, trailer or equipment provided, for which the bond will be deducted and payable to Adventure Hire Perth.
Safety Briefing and Induction
Please ensure you allow 30 minutes within the pick-up window for the mandatory safety briefing and induction. All hirers must be present for the entire duration before the jet ski is released.
Personal Safety Gear
You are required to wear neoprene shorts as a minimum. Regular bathing suits or board shorts are not recommended. An approved Type 1 PFD will be provided for adults, however no children’s life jackets are provided. Please also ensure you take adequate sun protection and drinking water with you. Always connect the key lanyard to yourself or the PFD you’re wearing.
Weight and Age
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over. Children under 18 are permitted as passengers. You must abide by the weight restrictions listed on the jet ski.
Smoking, Drinking and Glass
No smoking is permitted on the jet ski. No glass is permitted on the jet ski or in the storage compartments. Alcohol consumption is not permitted while operating the jet ski and you must abide to WA state and federal laws regarding driving while under the influence.
Notice of cancellation must be given in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org with a minimum of 7 days' notice prior to hire to receive a full refund. Cancellation within the 7-day window will result in a deduction of up to $500 of your hire payment as a cancellation fee.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to check the weather forecast over their desired hire period. No refunds will be given for bad weather.
The jet ski must be returned to Adventure Hire Perth within the return window to avoid the $150 late payment fee.
We will apply a cleaning fee if we determine the jet ski and/or trailer is unreasonably dirty or there are stains requiring professional detailing to be removed.
The jet ski will come with a full tank of 98 Octane petrol. It is important to ONLY use 98 Octane petrol to refill the jet ski. The petrol tank must be returned full and a receipt to be provided as proof that 98 Octane fuel was used. Additional fees will be incurred if returned without a full tank of 98 Octane at $4 per litre.

Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our customers, we cannot be held responsible for personal or third-party injury, loss or damage to persons or property due to the actions of the customer while towing or operating the jet ski.
